We're still waiting for some more info on this but will share it as soon as we have it.
It won't be until after the long weekend though. Sorry.
Which long weekend? |

What's happening here? A royalty increase was announced for April 1st. Has it been implemented or not? If not, why not? When is it going to be implemented, and when are we going to be paid the correct amounts backdated to April?
These are simple questions. Let's have some answers please.

Posted Thu Oct 18, 2012 3:14AM | Unfortunately there are many unanswered questions right now! |
Posted Thu Oct 18, 2012 11:18AM | This is really dirty pool! You promissed an increase over 6 months ago, and I and others adjusted our portfolios based on this information. Now you won't even answer our questions? It appears that the newsletter writers are completely out of touch with the rest of the business. Please respect us enough to follow up on your promisses made by the contributor newsletter and stop jerking our pay around! |

/Hi Everyone, so sorry it took so long to come back to you on this.
Back in February, we let you know of an upcoming rate change for your files on Thinkstock. As you know, that change was not implemented. You might have seen a bulk addition of royalties to your account that covers the new rate from March 1st to September 30 on the evening of October 3rd. There was also a small change (very tiny $ wise) that took effect on October 1st and we will update the rate schedule page before the end of the month with the updated rates. We've made sure you were earning the new rates right from October 1st.
Our apologies for not announcing this sooner. |

Thank you for the update.
Maybe this should go in the suggestion forum, but we really need an upgrade to the accounting provided to contributors. Money randomly showing up in our accounts, or being taken from our accounts (in the form of refunds) needs to have more doccumentation provided. I would like to know how much I earned from this royalty increase, but there is no way to know if my balannce went up on October 3rd or not. |

/You will see the retropayments for the rate change on the same date as the original sale as a second line.
Here is the example:
File xxxxx received an additional $1.76 on March 1st, 1:24am.
If you go to your Partner Program stats, look up payouts from March 1st, you will see 2 rows. 1 row contains $2.60 and the other row $1.76
File xxxxx (contributor xxxxx) received an additional 1.76$ on March 1st, 1:24am.
If you go the Partner Program stats, look up payouts from March 1st, you will see 2 rows. 1 row contains $2.60, and the other row $1.76.

I'm not aware of a way to look up PP sales by date. I thought they could only be looked up by file #. Am I missing something? |
Posted Sat Oct 20, 2012 3:15AM | Box 5, I think we should go into the download history of each file to see it.

For my part, I have only one file that contains this adjustment .... Is this normal, or is it all files purchased on Thinkstock in March to September which should have ?

Hmmm ... 690 downloads in the period from 1st March to August 31st (given we haven't been paid for September yet) and not a single one of these payment corrections. Of the 690 downloads 26 were not the minimum payment sindicating they were an impage pack sale. None of these have a correction payment.
Can someone please look into this? What kind of sales were we supposed to get corrections for? |
Posted Sun Oct 21, 2012 12:00PM | As a new contributor all of my images are supposed to be in the partner program - but when I realized that I stopped getting any sales over there too (to match my lack of sales on iStock) I looked for my images yesterday. Discovered that out of 86 images only 32 have actually been put onto either Partner site. That leaves 54 in limbo. I put in a ticket to support but of course that won't get me any answers. Is there a way to manually put my images there since the automatic system doesn't seem to be working? At this point the royalty rate we receive is at the bottom of my concerns...I just want SOMETHING to get some sales SOMEWHERE! |

^ The answer is: no.
Note that only images from creative collection are suposed to be in PP.

After the ASA change, there was a very, very large number of files that became eligible for the Partner Program but do to the sheer volume, it has been a slow process. Files continue to go over to the partner sites steadily but we still have quite a ways to go.

Yes, I can see files are added slowly.
But I can also see that there are doubling files...
For example: No. 154209992 and No. 153494763 at thinkstock.

Very few packs had a price change so that may be why you are not seeing many (or any) adjustments. When I double checked that the adjustments worked, I looked at about 5 different contributors who had adjustments. The range was quite wide even among 5 people; from as little as $2 and up to around $50. |

Slow process? LOL...mold grows faster.
But back to my question...is there a way for me (as a non-exclusive) to manually put the files into the partner program if "the system" is overloaded and can't handle it?? I can't seem to find a checkbox or anything to speed up the process. |
Posted Tue Oct 30, 2012 3:41PM | LeeAnn, there is no way to speed up the process. It's a slow process but we will get there...eventually. |
