Hi everyone,
I just quickly wanted to share my current experience with a transaction with Payoneer and give a bit of advice to other istock contributors using this method of payment. I recently went to the ATM to withdraw a signficant amount of cash from the payoneer account $1670.  The machine sounded like it was counting the cash and when the drawer opened it only dispensed $20!!  However my payoneer account was debited with the full amount.  I am not going to go into the full details of what happened etc with the support, but to summarise I now have to wait 90 days to get a response from Mastercard to see if they will even approve the chargeback to my card.  So, the long and the short of it is, I don't know if I'll get my money back (hoping like crazy I do!) and my advice to all those using the Payoneer Credit card system is to just take out small amounts of cash at ATM's ie maybe only a couple hundred dollars at a time so you are not stuck in the position I am.

Cheers

Don't worry this ATM problem. Every transaction is recorded on an analog tape inside the machine .You will get your money back but have to wait. To be more confidence you can check the bank who own the machine and make sure they have such difference in this day transactions enclosure . I had same experience (Not with this provider)  and was just matter of time.

Thanks for the advice. I have been in contact with the bank and they are yet to inform me if there has been a discrepency.  I know there has been, so I guess the bank will know eventually from the tape you described. Out of interest, how long did it take you to get your money back?

Cheers

Hello, i had exactly the same problem few months ago with around 200$. They wrote me the same email, and told i should wait for 90 days. Then i get angry because i had the evidence in my hand the confirmation paper from the transaction where it was written "There is no connection with the issuer bank". I sent the copy of this confirmation paper as well with the "Cardholder Statement of Disputed Item - Fraud" application form, and i wrote some asngry words as well )).

Then they answered, that the 90 days is an average time, and my problem should be solved faster.

Well it wasn't 90 days really, but still too much to wait. (around 60 days...) I still dont know what was last sooo long in a such easy case...

At least i get my money back!

Woa, that's a lot of cash to withdraw from an ATM, usually in my country we have a limit of $600, i would recommend, if you have that ammount, that you actually use your card to purchase stuff, instead of trying to withdrwaw it all, just my 2 cents.

i'm pretty sure you'll get your money back

Thanks. Yeh, I know it was a lot of cash to withdraw. Not usually a problem though.  I wont be doing that again!
