I have been slowly recreating all of my "templated" projects in inDesign and scrapping Quark. One specific project (in Quark 8) has many master pages, styles, colors, etc. It would take an insane amount of time to recreate from scratch.

Currently, I have a few different print vendors who have different legacy versions of Quark. We are passing the master template file from one to another in an attempt to get it down to version 4, which can be opened in inDesign.

Meanwhile, should this fail... I found this online:

https://secure.avangate.com/order/product.php?PRODS=4537806&QTY=1&AFFILIATE=3734&AFFSRC=free-quark-to-indesign-conversion-q2id55-win03

Has anyone tried this method? Has it worked?

Any advice or suggestions would be most appreciated.

Thanks.

Dan

The program works extremely well. A friend of a friend had it and we used it to convert the template. Highly recommend it for anyone in a similar situation.
