Hi, I got a message from Istockphoto about a an upload "We cannot accept: You have left open shapes in your illustration". I have open up the illustration but cannot fint any open shapes, I then downloaded the plug in for illustrator CS3-CS5 (I use CS5) but I cant find any option to help me find the open shape. Please anyone?

I think you might want to try the critique forum. Please do read the Stickie Post here before you post your file:

I've got a better idea. Let's try the Illustration Forum.

If you use the "select CS" plugin ( http://rj-graffix.com/software/plugins.html) it will add a menu that will allow you to select open shapes. You can use this to find your open shapes. You can also use a script (one available there:  http://vectips.com/tricks/10-free-and-extremely-useful-illustrator-scripts/) to close all open shapes. I use both before uploading to make sure there are no open shapes. Hope this helps!

Hi there, are there any plugins or scripts available for CS6? I cant seem to get the ones I used for CS5 to work in CS6. I used both the 'select CS' plugin and the script you refer to.

Go to Window > Document Info, make sure "objects" are ticked of in the document info dialogue box (under the small menu in the top right corner)

Select all paths in your illustrations and document info will tell you how many open paths there is. If your file is layered I suggest locking layers one by one to see which layer has the open path.
