Announcing: UBB Helper 2.0. It's been a while since the last release of the UBB Helper tool, but since then I've been busy. The entire UBB Helper has been rewritten under the hood. That means it should reflect what your will see on iStockphoto more accurately, and as a side benefit, it has smoother graphics performance and broader browser support.

But that's not all, a new feature, "snippets" is in this new version. You can save often-used pieces of text as snippets. Just select what you want to save, and press the "+snippet" button and you will see your new snippet in the snippets pane. This feature does require a newer browser. If you haven't updated your browser, now would be a good time -- it's a good idea anyhow because many Web sites display better in current-technology browsers.

The new UBB helper is located at this location.

There is a chance that some of you have been happily using the previous version of the UBB helper and just don't care about the new changes. The previous version is located at this location.

Feel free to sitemail me with your impressions and/or your comments about this version of the UBB Helper.

Looks very handy - I shall book mark that.

I always use UBB mode and the only time it irks me is when I want to quickly create a thumbnail link quickly, and this does the job very well. Thanks for sharing it.
