I checked in on  this Socrates character I drew the other day and found it had one view + one download!

Cool! I had an image last week with a 11 views - 1 download - ratio, which was a very nice surprise for me. But I think I never had such an impact on the first viewer like you

Update: I found one of my files with 2 views and 2 downloads. Maybe the view counter wasn't correct, because of the site issues, but who knows?

Hm, I just assumed that was a vector since Russell was pimping it here in the Illustration thread, but you're right, it's a "photo." Last I heard, we weren't allowed to do that.

Yeah. Odd. I've had rejections in the past for photos that 'should be' vectors. Some clarification on this would be good.

You can only have one version of a file online, so if you wanted to upload just a JPEG of a vector I suppose you could do so (though you earn more from vectors, generally). But no, you can't have the exact same file as both a vector and a JPEG.

LOL, that's an interesting one! My guess would be an inspector's lightbox, because those views don't count (otherwise all files inspected would be given odd view counts whenever an inspector needs a 2nd opinion)!
