![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Posted Tue Sep 11, 2012 1:28AM | I'm not angry, I'm not ranting, I am just thoroughly deflated that yet two more of my illustrations have received the 'lacking visual impact' rejection. Iknow, I know, we all get them, but my rejection rate has gone way up recently. Is any established istocker getting more rejections than in the past? I'm a gold contributor, and though I'm not so arrogant that I think everything I produce is wonderful, I do think I've reached a standard where I know what is good compositionally and works as an image. Technical specific rejections I can cope with, but 'lacking visual impact' does me in. Anyone else seeing this or am I just out of favour all of a sudden?! I will be now that's for sure. haha (Edited on 2012-09-11 01:28:33 by pinkpig) |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Posted Tue Sep 11, 2012 3:03AM | I don't think rejections are personal, even if it might feel it sometimes. I'd do what DWithers suggest above and try the critique forum. Also have you tried Scout to see if you can get a more specific answer there? |
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Posted Tue Sep 11, 2012 3:38AM | If you disagree with a rejection then you can open a Scout ticket and ask for official clarification and a second opinion. Or you can open a thread in the Critique Request forum and seek some advice from your peers on where you could perhaps improve things. Remember to Read this first, if you do choose to open a thread there. But there is nothing to discuss in general terms as every file is judged on its own merits.
