PHOTO: Lighting rejection of cat

After looking at their suggestions for bounce lighting etc. I found that I followed all of their advice exactly. And no blown out highlights--there is detail in all of the light fur. I don't think the light is too flat. You can see shadows under the cat's chin and some fur.


You can see that there is no direct flash--soft light from above and reflection from the side as seen in the cat's eyes.


I don't see a white balance problem, but let me know if you do. So I'm not seeing something.

Pretty cat.  From this size it looks a bit dull.  I would put more contrast and a little lighter and see what you think.
