Posted Fri Sep 28, 2012 2:16PM | Does anybody know what the current average inspection time is for videos?
I have several videos in the inspection-queue. Uploaded up to 18 days ago. Seems a bit steep in comparison to the image-inspection times...
Best regards, David

Posted Sat Sep 29, 2012 1:38AM | Mine from 6 weeks ago still pending. |
Posted Sat Sep 29, 2012 3:45AM | AFAIK, exclusives around 2 weeks at the moment. |
Posted Mon Oct 1, 2012 11:19AM | Close to 2 months for non-exclusives....pretty typical here at iStock. Every once in a blue moon they do a "surge" and everyone gets excited that things are on the up and up but...plan on 6-8 weeks for non-exclusives. |

Posted Sun Oct 14, 2012 2:38AM | Wow! Had some files accepted last night. Are the video inspectors working at weekends now too? Great!! |
Posted Sun Oct 14, 2012 5:38AM | +1 ! a big serie of around 30 files has been accepted this night for me too !! |

I'm waiting for 2 weeks. You're lucky and the inspection logic is terrible. |

Well, I've uploaded these files on 27 september so I guess it would be your time soon ! It is mainly surprising to have such a big serie inspected on a saturday ! |

I thought they were inspected in the same day Sorry.
I've experienced such things for editorial images where normally inspection takes more than a week. |
  Posted Thu Oct 18, 2012 12:32AM | // 30 video files pending // 6 weeks + // yawn ......... |

When / if you become exclusive here, that will go some way towards motivating inspectors to review your work more quickly. |

How long would a submitter have to wait if EXCLUSIVE? |
Posted Sat Nov 3, 2012 10:22AM | 13-14 days at the moment according to my experience. |

I don't believe that being exclusive would increase my sales enough. Nothing in the forums indicate as much. |
Posted Fri Nov 16, 2012 2:26AM | 7 weeks + 2 days ... kind of silly actually and not very respectful IMHO. What? Only in Canada you say?
In Thailand (where I am presently) it is always tomorrow so when tomorrow comes it is tomorrow again and again. No big deal because nothing happens on time or when you would like.
Not to worry iStock. Take your time. No rush. |
Posted Tue Nov 27, 2012 5:39PM | How is everyone doing on inspection times just out of interest? |
Posted Tue Nov 27, 2012 5:41PM | All my October clips have been reviewed a few days back and I am non exclusive. Thanks team! |
Posted Tue Nov 27, 2012 7:25PM | Was told by CR that the queue extends from 8 to 10 weeks now. Files submitted today won't be inspected until January 28th. |
