update: v1.3.2 is now available for download.

this fixes two bugs, so updating is totally recommended:

  • Bugfix: reading lightboxes with exactly 50 files sometimes failed
  • Bugfix: fetching GI sales sometimes gave an inaccurate number of downloads


 


ETA: if SP has missed some of your GI sales, you don't have to do a clean fetch to fix this. just download the new version and do a normal fetch, and things should be back to normal.

Hi,


I have just gone independent but had 4 Getty sales in January, will SP show these? Not sure because you lose all GI sales pages when you leave exclusivity.

i'm afraid i can't answer that. depends on whether the gi sales page is really inaccessible to you as an indie, or whether it is just gone from the navigation on the left. if it's only gone from the nav, but accessible, SP should be able to read it. if you can't access it at all, SP won't be able to read it either.

/hmm, and we have to pay upgrade too? As I recall you said that all future releases at least one year will be free with a purchase of Stats Prime. Now 3 months later you made a new version Stats Prime 2.0 but under a new name just to avoid us to do a free upgrade to 2.0. You should wait at least that this one year pass by.


I am not saying that you should work for free (I bought your software) but it seems quite unfair and unprofessional.

well, not exactly. i said that you will get free (maintenance) patches for sp1 for 1 year - which is still valid. so in case bugs show up, or istock changes something about the site and i have to adapt the app, there will be (free) updates for sp1. also, i never mentioned that sp2 would come as a free upgrade to sp1. as is common practice with software, upgrading from v1.1 to v1.2 to v1.3 is free, but from v1 to v2 is not.

the stats are wrong at the moment. The timeframe from 05th to 14th of April seems to be wrong calculated.

fr73 - my numbers look good over here. can you be more specific about the error? is SP reporting too many or too few sales? are numbers before april 5th and after april 14th ok? when did you last do a data fetch?

the numbers between 5th and 14th are too low by far. the numbers before and after this timeframe seem to be ok. Today I did a quick fetch. The last complete fetch was maybe in February.

did you do any fetches between the 4th and the 15th? or did you do one before the 4th and the next one after the 15th? just asking because the only thing i can think of that could be causing the effect you describe would be a failing internet-connection during a data fetch. anyhow, the only possibility to fix your numbers would be to do a clean fetch. please let me know if the problem persists after a clean fetch.

just a short note to let you all know i'll be on the road for the coming 2 weeks, so all incoming requests will be taken care of from june 3rd. same goes for any software updates, e.g. related to the upcoming restructuring of istock collections (but as those are apparently scheduled for mid/end june, there should be no problems).
