please download v1.4.0 which adds support for istock's new collection structure.
after updating, you will not have to do a clean fetch, just a "normal" fetch. as usual, do a clean fetch only if you feel there is something wrong with your numbers.
istock has announced that the collection restructuring will take place in several steps over the next few days. in case any of the upcoming changes made to the site will affect SP, i'll try to provide an update asap. i'll keep my eyes open, but don't hesitate to let me know if you find anything does not work as expected.
one thing to keep in mind:
if you open a lightbox in sp, you will notice that the files in that lightbox will jump back to the collection they had before the collection changes (e.g. "plus" instead of "signature", "agency" instead of "vetta", etc). this is because search results & lightbox data on the site currently show the old collections (i assume this is one of the things which will be fixed in the following days). however, this data will not be saved to sp's database, so once you restart your app, your files will show the correct/current collection again. as said, this issue should disappear once the migration on the istock side is complete.

due to the recent changes to istock's search, all lightbox-related features currently don't work.
i'll try to provide an updated version ASAP.

concerning the data fetch options you can now:

Hi Razvan, thanks for the recent update.
There's one thing you may change in the future: all my Vetta Illustrations are belonging wrongly to the Photography file type. There seems to be a connection that every Vetta is supposed to be a Photograph, which isn't correct.

frank - sorry for the error conerning file types. i will get back to you on that issue once i'm back from slovenia and fix it asap. can you say if that has always been this way (vetta vectors shown as photos) or is this a more recent phenomenon?

it has been always this way, since the beginning the Vetta Vectors are belonging automatically to the Photography file type. I simply fortgot to tell you this little issue.

SP keeps freezing due to an unfinished fetch, running extremely slow and buttons don't respond, I have the latest version, any ideas?

hi antb - i've just tried and everything works well here. i assume "extremely slow and buttons don't respond" refers to operating the software outside the data fetch. can you check if you have any background processes running or if some other app is using up your internet bandwidth? can you figure when the problems started and if you made any changes to your system at that time? the slow / freezing fetch might also be related to the istock servers (though i can't confirm this - everything is going well here) so trying again later might solve the issue....

thanks for replying, sorry I didnt explain very well. When I start SP a window comes up titled "Unfinished Data Fecth" but the window is empty except the blue "OK" button. If I press OK, nothing happens. Or sometimes if I press it about 10minutes later it disappears but then all other controls freeze instead. Have to force quit most times. Having this problem only on my iMac, my Macbook works fine. No other apps are taking up the BW. Problem has existed for a while only just gotten round to trying to sort it out.

that sounds strange and the only thing i can think of is a corrupted db file. you could try and copy the data file from your macbook to your imac and see if that fixes the problem. you can find the file in your user's home directory under nullplussoftware/statsplus.db3
let me know if that works.

thanks for the advice, I copied the DB file and yes that cleared the "unfinished data fetch" window, but unfortunately SP still very slow. Managed to get it to fetch new data, but then the fetch screen froze and OK button doesn't respond!

hm, can't really make sense of this. you could also try to reinstall the software... if that also doesn't work, i'm afraid i'm out of ideas. the software runs well on your macbook, you said?

Yes works fine on my macbook, which is a much older, slower machine. Have now removed all the old files and reinstalled everything from scratch but have exactly the same problem, everything frozen can't press ok, close, quit etc
