Hi, can anyone share any light. I had a HD clip downloaded yesterday full 1080p for only $15. I normally get $30+

It didn't seem to be a subscription or anything?. Info off download stats says:

19/10/2012 6:31 AM MDT
HD 1080 (mov)
Regular

$15.68 USD

$33.34 USD

And, I'm not high on RC too !

I don't think you can find out whether its subscription or small scale buyer from that info provided by IS in DL page. Yes my 1080 HD clips has been sold for 17-18$ in the past and its well documented in forums that some buyers have crazy cheap credits. This happens even in getty... some times as low as 6$... I know crazysmile

Don't forget some new buyers have a 10% discount according to the home page.

I don't think we can do much about it. CR might be able to shed some light on the price if you email. But I am sure there is no mistake is done by IS given that you have not gone passed RC targets recently.

When it happended to me I was very surprised and dissapointed as well.

Maybe we have to wonder if it is normal that contributors have to pay that... I mean these decisions of discounts are entirely istock decision without consulting contributors, why contributors have to participate to discounts ? RC sounds like jokes with it.

It could be a subscription sale. The stats are no longer broken down into subscription and non-subscription, so you have no way of knowing.

If it is a non-subscription sale, then they paid $0.64 per credit. (I'm assuming you are on 25%?). This is possible, as we have often heard mention in the forums that there are some very cheap old credits still "floating around," with no expiry date.

Thanks for the replys! I actually had 2 downloads that day so must have been from the same buyer both 1080 and $15.

I say its not a subscription sale as it does't show under the subscrition tabe where all my other sub sales show?

Oopps sorry, just checked the subscription button again and hey presto!
So yeah they were subscriptions! the subscription tab was just a bit slow to update itself.

Thanks everyone!
