![]() Posted Wed Dec 5, 2012 5:29PM | still the problem is there, also the number views is parctily zero for new files! |
![]() Posted Wed Dec 5, 2012 8:15PM | Yes, quite frustrating that "views" is not working for such a long time... The number of views can be very helpful to find out which title/description/keywords work or don't work. Anyways, all we can do is waiting to be fixed... |

![]() ![]() Posted Wed Dec 5, 2012 8:18PM | I have never seen the importance of the rating system at Istock. It seems people cruise the images and give them a "5" because they like them. I don't think this has improved sales or views of any image. If there is a "most expendable" function at Istock, this, in my opinion, is it. |

Feel good to get 5 star rating, but this function is really redundant. iStock can safely get rid of it, and ease their site maintenance. (Edited on 2012-12-05 23:21:10 by JoeyFields) |

(Edited on 2012-12-05 23:21:10 by JoeyFields) And I see the strong relationship between rating and views-sales. And that was a nice way to know other contributors. Write so on, and IStock never fix this feature. They will be able to say: contributors don't want it. Rating and "recent images" joined the contributors community and now both functions don't work - the old good "recent images" over a year |
![]() ![]() Posted Mon Dec 10, 2012 1:06PM | I agree with Madzia completely and I must say I miss her ratings too: she always took the time to go through the latest files and whenever I happened to see a good picture she'd always beaten me to the punch And this is something completely different from the rating gangs somebody used to talk about years ago. It's just a way of acknowledging other contributor's good work when you happen to see it. Oh, by the way, did I say that I miss it too? |
![]() Posted Thu Jan 31 2:17PM | The first month of the new year is over and still, RATING and VIEW problems, what is for for almost 5 months gooing on? |
