Looking at November's partner program royalties, they stop on the 14th and there are no more for the rest of the month. Anyone else the same ?

Errr, Getty sales, they are purlpe bars, Partner programs are for images/photographs, they are green.

Also, Getty/apple sales shouldn't start yet. Around 28th as expected. For November that is. But it would be nice to move them a bit before cause of the holidays etc ))

Is Apple Dec 12 royalties report completed? I have weird $ increase few days ago, but in stats I can see only few new sold items, that look like Getty SFX sales.

I had a mystery $ bump the other day too. Went through all my file details (administration, history) and only found a couple bucks of GI sales accounted for. A message to support a few days ago has yet to be responded to. It would be really nice of the folks at iStock headquarters to allow non-exclusive contributors access to the partner accounting information. No reason have ever been given other than a vague "we don't want to" answer. Which is a pretty lousy way to treat contributors that they're taking an 80-85% commission from. I'm not asking for special exclusive-only treatment without being exclusive. The sales happen, please let us simply see what they were.

My question earlier in the thread "When will non-exclusive contributors be given access to the "GI" sales information in the "my uploads" section?"

The answer from thepugnatious, "No, non exclusives do not have access to this. In fact it is very lucky that a few non-exclusive files were chosen for this project. That was only done as the decision was out of our hands. Generally Gety Images partner programs are only offered to Exclusive artists."

Later this was added in response to a related question "NO non-exclusive people can see the GI.com tab in their stats. The only way I know that a non exclusive can see their GI.com stats is to go to the file in question, click on the "View file download history" button, then scroll through the monthly bar graph stats. Again this is because the ONLY GI.com sales any non-exclusives were able to garner is via this program."

This last part may not be true, as I suspect I have files in other GI sales programs, with a single GI sale for $2.45 on a different file than the ones in the iPhone deal which only yield me $0.25 cents a pop. I had also deleted a few dozen files from iStock over the past year and suspect they are involved in partner programs generating occasional GI sales that I have absolutly no way of tracking, explaining my mystery balance jumps. I do appreciate these added sales, and have stopped deleting my portfolio here because of them. But I really think it's fair to ask for access to the relevant accounting information. I have yet to get a response from anyone through contacting iStock, which is why I'm posting here.

And by the way, I think it is "lucky" of iStock to be an agent selling my sound effects files earning them $3500 to my $600, not including the files in this program earning them thousands more. Also it was "lucky" that iTunes were smart enough to choose files themselves that they know will sell in their platform rather than limiting the iStock's choice of a limited group of "iStock exclusives".

Thanks in advance.

I have a question about the iTunes sales numbers. I have a file that has consistently stayed in the top 100 since June and during Christmas one of my Christmas files jumped right into the top 30. My sales from iTunes tones for December are 168 downloads. Can someone explain how the top 100 works and why I see daily movement of my file (in fact hourly) going up and down and yet the download amounts are only 168 across a whole month. Some guidance on this would be great guys - thanks.

@DarylFX - Getty also selected the tones. And I'm not aware of any other program where only a limited group of "iStock exclusives" were selected - can you advise which one(s) you are referring to as I must have missed that discussion - thanks.

edit: I see when I click on the files I happen know to be on the Apple system in my portfolio, then Administrator, then file downloads, then click back to June through September, I can retrieve the numbers and dates. Not exactly as easy as the exclusives seem to have it, but the info is there.

iStock Exclusives are a limited group by definition.

@darylfx that's correct exclusive contribution is a category here. You however, named a "limited group of iStock exclusives" and so, I ask you again what partner programs are you referring to that this group has had access to?

Pug - can someone answer my query on iTunes top 100? Thanks.

@Audiogate, again, I am speaking of the exclusives being the limited group normally considered for GI deals. Limited meaning iStock is generally excluding non-exclusives from GI partner programs, regardless of content. I meant nothing negative against exclusives themselves, just re-stating what minimal information we had been told about the program, and expressing how condescending and frankly insulting it is to consider our files selling somewhere making these guys money as "lucky", for us. We work our asses off on stock, just to see 80-85% commissions absorbed into a company that has shown very little respect for the majority of their contributors.

After recieving a brief response from iStock in which they clearly had not read any of my query, just asking for a screenshot of my current balance for some reason and not addressing anything specific I asked about, and not getting any response here, I'm giving up on this fight for basic and reasonable access to our own account information. Apparently I'm the only one with this issue, and iStock couldn't care less. So go ahead, put money into my account without explaining why or where from. What the hell do I care anyways? Keep it coming guys.

Daryl, I apologize that my comments came across insulting. However it is true that as a rule we generally do not feature non-exclusives in partner programs. We respect all of our contributors skill and are indeed ourselves lucky to have them creating content on our platforms. We prefer exclusive content and for that reason most of of featured content and partner content will be chosen from this group.

Itunes top 100 - I too am a little unclear on that one. I get conflicting reports to the accuratness of these. Top 100 may be localized,. I am also looking for this information. As far as your sales go we get these sales numbers directly from apple and then upload them into your account. If you see some specific irregularities please feel free to pass them on to us.
