Yes, yes, yes! I'd like to ask one more time about zoom?

Soon you will lose me and others as the clients. Congratulations!

I used to use iStock all day, everyday. These days, I only visit occasionally, to see if Zoom has been restored. Now, even those visits are becoming increasingly infrequent.

We are very sorry that istock has removed this functionality and is taking ages to restore it.

Is is so frustrating to spend hours on a photo to make it perfect and then the buyers can't even see this quality in 100% zoom

Do other Microstock sites also have a zoom function?

Some have, some don't. But hope the HQ will restore it soon.

I think it will never come back... And it was on purpose. Now they cheking how it affects on the sales, i think. Theres no zoom at Getty, and they decided to finish it at Istock also...

However i dont understand why is it necessary to close an option which can call more customers.

You are just talking for the sake of it. They said that zoom is going to come back.

I don't understand why adding credit card sales would make us lose zoom for months.

Me neither. It's no wonder conspiracy theories are starting to emerge.

Zoom is being worked on and we hope to have an update/ETA very soon. I am hoping this week but we'll see how the progress is going later this week. As for why cash took away zoom, in order to add cash to the site, the entire file close up page had to be rebuilt and the work we needed to do on zoom was going to take longer than the desired release date for cash.

The only thing I can think of is the cc JavaScript is preventing the zoom script from running properly? Still am surprised it would be allowed to take this long to fix or rewrite.

.. or they try to make it bulletproof for all the istock zoom auto stitching scripts...

Zoom is really nice feature but many other sites don't have it. Just think logically, why didn't they (other sites) enable zoom in a blink of an eye, especially now that iStock doesn't have it (temporarily)? Maybe because it is very involved process? iStock is redoing it from the ground up (see oldladybird post above). Patience people, patience.

I still think they testing the sales without the Zoom function, because it is hard to belive that it takes so long to fix this even they have to rebuild the whole thing from the ground...

I agree, completely.

We're all experiencing problems (buyers and contributors alike), but they've said they would fix it, they apologized about the delay, a few things have indeed been fixed...  So I guess we just have to be patient and maybe the next time we're looking for perfection just look at ourselves and reconsider wink

Rather have it back later fully working and without any problems or site outages, than sooner with problems.

Yep. That is the plan.
