Redeemed Credit Retro Payments: UPDATED Dec 21st

Hi Everyone, as you may have already noticed, we have sent out the retropayments for the 2012 redeemed credit targets. Anyone who reached the next level will have seen an increase in their account balance and should receive an email from iStock.

Hi All, just a quick update here that the retropayments for the royalty drop that occured on Nov 22/23 has now been paid out. Please note this did not effect everyone. If your rate did drop and you had sales over that 20 hour period, you should have received an emai outlining the files licensed and the amount paid back.

Will we be getting a breakdown on which images and amounts?


Also, does this include when we reached the target or when the announcement was made?

This payment starts from when you hit your target level and covers the difference between your old rate and the new one. There won't be a breakdown as it is simply all sales since you hit the next level up.

"...all sales since you hit the next level up..."...until the point the correct commission started to be applied on all sales a few/several weeks ago. I believe this is a little more definitive - correct?

I'm pretty sure Charlie is correct. Oct 17th, sometime between the last incorrect sale at 12:55pm and the first corrected sale at 5:02pm - Calgary time. Approximately.

So, does one contact contributor relations when a new level is reached?  Or, is this now automatically done?  I've read in the forums that Cr must be contacted and then some say they get a reply that directs them to the forums. 


Clarity on the process would be appreciated.
