^ True. But if the current situation continues without some sort of beneficial change for contributors, the "cut" on iStock's nose will get to the point of no return. There will no longer be any benefits to keep us exclusive.

The effort that contributors put into creating stock is directly porportional to the finacial reward. Lower revenue means less effort. If iStock wants quality images from good photographers they have to make it worth while. This isn't a hobby or a game. So the answer is yes, they should lower the RC's if they want to maintain quality and maintain exclisive contributors.

The RC system is horrible and I said so form the start! It has caused site issues as well as payment issues and I know many who dropped exclusive status once that system took effect. When looking at RC levels keep in mind iStock that the only advantage you have currently in this market is exclusive content! The game is changing and I don't see the RC system being a good draw for amazing talent.

This goes without saying, but I'm saying it nonetheless, WHERE'S OUR INCENTIVE iSTOCK? Like Juanmonino said" They took away everything that benefited us like Punctum Day, cannister levels, moo cards, referrals and they gave us RC targets." It's been a take - take situation for years now, we need a glimmer of hope.
I totally agree with this! However, I think RC levels weren't made for IS to make more money. Instead, I see RCs as a way for contributors to grow and earn more % that does not depend on DL levels but actual image sales and size. Makes more sense than just mindlessly counting DL numbers with hundreds of xsmall images.
However, everything else you said - it's clear they've taken all they could take from us! One of the most frustrating things here is that I can no longer project or plan anything. Because everything is really related how BM treats you, it's more like a lottery than quality/dl reasons. At least for now in its current broken form.

It is good though, and motivating, for new comers and up and comers... With the actual number of sales going down constantly, it takes forever to change canister levels if you're not that established. Personally, it would take me another 2 years at this rate to make gold and yet I've just hit 35% with the RC system, so I'm thankful for it.

Folks. It's clear that regardless of the thread title there will be people coming in to derail or change the subject almost immediately. So, think about that before you post. If you are going to drag everything you can think of into every thread regardless of the title, yes, you will lose posts in here(and elsewhere, and eventually your shenanigans will prompt a forum ban).
Considering this thread is asking a pretty clear question allow me provide an entirely clear answer:
There will be no adjustments to the RC targets. You might have missed me making that clear in the initial announcement thread on the matter, but I know there are a lot of people in here who know this already.
There will be no adjustments to the RC targets. That is the final word on that.
