I have submitted this photo as edtiorial andit got rejected due to the date on the camera being wrong and therefore not corresponding with the actual date i shot it.

'The image submitted has a production date that conflicts with the file EXIF data. All images must have an accurate production date, country of origin and accurate caption information to be accepted for editorial use.'

Can anyone help me with this?

Thanks

It's simple! your editorial content date does not match the date in the EXIF therefore you need to amend your date in the editorial content and resubmit, there is no shortcut! a buyer needs to be assured he is buying an image shot on the date it was.

thanks - Problem is that the date on the camera was out by 10 years.   And my model of the camera was not out on the date it says in the EXIF.

I am guessing I might have to reshoot it.

thanks

If you shot the picture on, for example, 2012-11-20 and the EXIF says you shot the picture on, for example, 2002-01-01, edit the EXIF data in the picture to make it correctly say 2012-11-20.

As davidjmorgan says: a buyer needs to be assured he is buying an image shot on the date it was.
So the EXIF data should be corrected.
