![]() ![]() Posted Tue Feb 5 11:55PM | Nice mix here as well. And...downloads have increased here significantly too...yesterday was the best day of the year in Dls and $$.By far. But I also want to emphasize that newer images have to get a chance to be seen...my newer stuff with zero Dls is still ranking behind lots of images with zero Dls from 2008...and newer stuff with even 5 Dls starts to say goodbye... |
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Posted Wed Feb 6 1:24AM | New files still do not get the sligthest BM bump when downloaded. Please finally adress this problem! |
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Posted Wed Feb 6 1:47AM | BM looks good, and sales too. I guess it proves that customers DO use multiple word searches. If the problem with DL/month parameter is going to be solved, our future may be not so dark. |
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Posted Wed Feb 6 4:39AM | If you want to talk about your daily sales patterns, please go join in the social group threads in the off topic forum. Here is the link to said OT forum. This isn't a daily sales report thread. So please do not choke this thread with all these comments of just what you are selling. If you have any questions or comments on the BM itself, please share them. ETA: Ok let's see if making the above in bold works any better (Edited on 2013-02-06 09:24:42 by kelvinjay) |
![]() ![]() Posted Wed Feb 6 11:32AM | I was wondering why one of my best selling images had not sold in a while. It has sold over 250X. So I did a bm and a downloads search using umbrella as the search parameter which had always brought it up in the first or second page. I couldn't find the image anywhere. It seems to have disappeared. Any ideas what might have happened. Has anyone else had this happen to them? |

That's basically what the last 96 pages of discussion has been about. So, you can have a file that sold well that then drops down, or a file that rises in the order. If you literally cannot find them anywhere in a search, then that may be another issue entirely. If you tell us the file number - I'm sure someone will check it. |

Was wondering the same about my #1. It was nice while it lasted. |
![]() ![]() Posted Wed Feb 6 11:51AM | Hi mikespics, just to let you know i can see your file (number: 17006015) 4th on page 2 for keyword "umbrella", as well as on the first page for keyword "rain" with BM. |
![]() ![]() Posted Wed Feb 6 11:52AM | I realize the BM changes. The issue is that the image isn't there. The file number is 17006015. I'll also pass the file number off to HQ. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Posted Wed Feb 6 12:03PM | Mike, I have your picture in place 66 by BM in a search for umbrella. |
![]() ![]() Posted Wed Feb 6 12:19PM | Thanks for looking. Yes it seems to be back again. So weird. Cheers. |
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Posted Wed Feb 6 1:05PM | I am so confused by BM right now. Almost all of my sales have been files that are 4 yrs old or more. Only one newish file in 2 weeks. Glad to be having sales at last but find this a very strange mix. |
![]() ![]() Posted Wed Feb 6 1:27PM | Its incredibly discouraging to watch brand new files get multiple dl's right out of the gate and have absolutely no movement in the BM in relationship to the others in the series that have had none. Perhaps this explains why nearly all of my recent series saw early downloads for a week or two then stopped flat. The BM is still bollocks. |
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Posted Wed Feb 6 2:25PM | Multiple keywording works good! But the BM results are still far from good. Many videos on the first pages are "yellowed with dust". Where are the new files? One month or one year old files? Does it make sense to upload at the moment? I will wait for the next BM. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Posted Wed Feb 6 2:40PM | Posted By crossbrain66: New files still do not get the sligthest BM bump when downloaded. Please finally adress this problem! I have about 20 files upload in December which got between 1 and 3 downloads in the first week and none since. |
![]() ![]() Posted Wed Feb 6 5:45PM | I uploaded 2 files last week with the same main keyword. They were both initially in the top 300 images for that keyword. Then one of the files was downloaded and the next day it dropped so far back I gave up trying to find it. I searched just photos, one dot (lowest price only) BM and went back 10 pages (sort by 200) and it wasn't there. The one that wasn't downloaded dropped about 20 places. When I check the order of keywords on the downloaded file it shows the same main keyword in the first position so I am assuming that was the word used to download it. Something is still broken with the movement of files after being downloaded. It seems that having a new file downloaded sent it straight to the back. |

I have noticed this happening to several of my new uploads, and images that I uploaded in Oct- Nov that had a couple of downloads then, have now vanished into the Abyss. |

New images are burried after first few sales or no sales. i am debating if it is good to upload now or wait till BM is fixed. |

I agree! nice mixture of old and new selling and the last three, four days have been extremely good for dls and $$$. ofcourse the BM can be improved but I recon it keeps changing all the time, a bit here, a bit there. In any case its a massive improvement from the way it was. (Edited on 2013-02-07 01:02:45 by lagereek) |
