Private Property

I noticed this in a thread that was locked about getting a property release or property owner's permission, but what about a scenario like this - a department store opens a boutique space within its store and the public as well as the media are invited to attend the grand opening. The event is held within the store. Would this require a property release?

I'd have said so. It's still private property.
