![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Posted Sat Dec 8, 2012 10:29AM | I think the theme is supposed to be Holidays as they relate to warm weather. Santa on the beach, etc. Not just any Christmas picture. Otherwise the title would be "any Christmas picture". |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Posted Sat Dec 8, 2012 10:59AM | I don't understand this. Stereotypes for Christmas and New Year are Snow, Christmas Trees, Santa, Celebration, Numerical presentation for Year Coming,... How's all of this fitting in Southern hemisphere? Should we show beaches, scorching temperatures and such? |

Giving presents by the BBQ etc. (Edited on 2012-12-08 11:03:25 by kelvinjay) |

Giving presents by the BBQ etc. yeah, ok. I've never been to Australia or South America during Christmas time so I am really curious to see images depicting this time of the year. So far I can see that they have Santa in shorts who occasionally deeps in a water to cool himself. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Posted Sat Dec 8, 2012 2:26PM | This is a bit embarassing - I live in the Southern Hemisphere, and we always spend Christmas at the beach or in the backyard with the Pohutukawa tress in bloom, but despite having nearly 200 Christmas videos in my portfolio, not a single one of them relates to the type of Christmas that I personally experience! Instead I have a lot of Christmas animations of falling snow, and other wintry subject matter! But, hey, it's what sells! I'm trying hard to find something to add to this thread, and found this video in my portfolio. This is Mt Ruapehu, New Zealand's largest active volcano, in summer. It even still has some snow on it to look a bit Christmassy: |

In Cairns, what is usually involved is everyone inside in the air conditioning. People who own pools are usually in or around them. And we really do have cold seafood as part of our Christmas lunch/dinner. |
