A question arose recently about extended licenses for video. Checking up, I can see only one difference between licenses for video and for photography. That is, there is no extended provision for 'Items for resale' with a video.

Does this bar the use of our stock videos in any production that is intended for commercial distribution? If so, what is the thinking behind that prohibition?

Don't know. But some other stocksites do offer extended licences for video.

There's a distinction between Items for resale and Electronic items for resale.

That being so, then maybe the difference in extended license between photo and video acknowledges that you are unlikely to want to print a video on a T-shirt.
