Images Keep Missing

Still got about 27 of my images - which for me is about a 15% of the total - missing from the PP. These are in most cases images that are completely ignored download-wise even by iStockphoto. I sent a detailed email with the file numbers to the artists@ and got the usual robot reply. These are not older images but rather randomly ignored newer ones. Since no one apparently is interested or gives a fs I am thinking to deactivate them, maybe re-submit them. Anyone ever attempted such and if so how did that work? Would istock accept resubmissions of deactivated files? Thank you SO much in advance for your help.

AFAIK, that wouldn't be, in principle, any problem for them - I have in the past resubmitted images I'd deactivated, in fact they told me to do so, as when I asked if they could reactivate them for me they said I had to resubmit instead.


However, be aware that they may of course be rejected when submitted a second time - different inspectors may see different things.


Doing all that just to try and get them in the PP seems a bit OTT though. From what I read, most contributors,including myself, seem to be missing a proportion of their files from the PP - the connector system just doesn't work properly.  And in my experience, it's really not worth the bother!
