Please help me understand the rejction for bad lighting (standard lighting rejection text) of this lion, no resubmit


I know there are many lions in the library but for the future would like to know what was wrong. Is it the almost blow out areas on the back?

I think the bright areas in the background are rather distracting. Add to that that the face is in shade and his back has attention grabbing blown detail too. Sharpness overall isn't great either. Combine all of that with a subject that's not doing anything particularly noteworthy, and that may go some way to explaining the no resubmit for it.

OK, tahk yoy,  guess I just fell in love with my lion. Hope to get back and get a better one some day.

brittak, Kelvin made the points, the lighting is the biggest issue in the pic, busy background that is blown out is rather distracting. I can see that this is one of those pic with such poor lighting that it would be difficult to repair, which would justify the no resub.
