I can't tell you how much I appreciate the inspectors and their patience, long-suffering, and pickiness!
Yesterday I spent over 4 hours dust-spotting a scanned 8x10 transparency of a snow scene with a lot of sky. I had already washed the film, but it was one of those with the dust embedded in the emulsion! UGH!
I finally finished my masterpiece and uploaded it.
This morning it immeditately came back rejected for dust by the poor film inspector.
Donald, PLEASE apologize to the scanned film inspector(s) for me!!!
(They rightfully must think I'm an idiot, or blind, or a lazy bum.)
I opened it up, wondering how I could have possibly missed anything after 4+ hours @ 200%!
But there it was. It looked horrible! I had missed an entire vertical stripe that was full of dust, in the sky no less, and even had a big old Newton ring in it.
I am EXTREMLY thankful that THAT file did NOT go live!!!
Anway, I just wanted to share this story to let our inspectors know we appreciate the trials and tribulations they have to suffer for us (me).
