PHOTO Boats: noise?

I wonder, is this too much noise or would it get trough?

What did you do to this? That looks way more noise than we would expect at ISO 200.

Way too noisy.  Also, it's just not special, there are so MANY sunset images already.


 

What didn't I do with that?  


This photo was taken before I started iStock-ing. My ISO was on Auto I guess. 


But as a newbie I still find it difficult to judge noise, light, colors etc...

You need to get it right in camera. The more you have to alter the image the more noisy it's likely to become. Aim to "expose to the right" too.


There is a visible name on at least one of the boats that would need to go for the main collection. The one nearest the centre is definitely readable, but I usually clone out anywhere there is a name readable or not.
