A very bad month and a fitting end to a disastrous year. Thx a lot ISP.

Awful. -24% on $ to dec´11. WMY for 2012 and 2011, with 53% growth on portfolio.
If this trend continues these next months, I will be considering dropping my crown.

I am positive about istock. I am sure that it will make a strong comeback. There are some very high quality images here and buyers will return. Happy new year to you all!

December was just horrible.
I have to go back to my early months here (2006-7) to see the same depressing amount of downloads. As for royalties, down over 50% on the best month this year, May. In fact, it's all been downhill since then.
I'm beginning to wonder why I bother to spend so much of my time here when I could be enjoying my retirement. Oh - hang on. I need the money.
How it looks for 2012:
ETA It makes this look like a bad joke. I don't see anything on the rise except my blood pressure.

December photo sales were dismal. Worst month since Feb 2011.
As of Christmas Day my crown is gone, and December sales reinforce my belief that I made the right decision.
Sad for this place, but wishing everyone a Happy New Year.

December 2012 was the worst month since January 2010!

Happy New Year everyone.
What if the "view counter" isn't broken and that is the number of views we are getting?
What if Istock doesn't fix anything even after trying to reach out to contributors?
Now that Istock is our distributor and not our agent, will they push our work as much or just use the influx of Getty work to make their output meet expectations?
How does a new contributor make exclusive (if they want to) when their work is forced onto the PP?
December was not good to me.

Here's the statistic that sums everything up for me. In Dcember last year, as a non exclusive, I had 260 downloads. This year, as an exclusive I had 70. Granted, PP hasn't been added but my downloads during my first full year of exclusivity have fallen from highs of 300+ earlier in the year to less than 100 now.

December 2012 started pretty much on par with December 2011. But somewhere halfway through the month things went down dramatically. December 2011 is my BME by far, so December 2012 is still among the 5 best months ever, but I had hoped it would be a little closer to my BME.
Dec 2012 compared to Dec 2011
2012 overall was quite a bit better than 2011, but again I had hoped the growth would be a little higher.
2012 compared to 2011

Again, WME. I hope something will change this year Very depressing

Terrible situation: I'm selling only very old files since BM is changed. Beautiful and useful new files are not seen and not downloaded, very discouraging situation....

Nooo! The first time for me that the month is worse than the corresponding one of the year before.... -63% DLs and -35% $$$.
And December had 15 days with no DLs (compared with 5 days in December 2011).
This despite 51% more files in my portfolio compared with Dec 2011.
On the positive side, earnings for 2012 were double those of 2011, although this is simply explained by growth of a very small portfolio.
I sincerely hope that December (worst month since Aug 2011!) was a freak accident because earning less year-on-year doesn't make any sense to me considering the effort involved in producing better content.

Compared to November
D/Ls -50% R/Ls -127%
Compared to 2011 D/Ls -50% R/Ls -127%
Complete waste of time uploading.

/Here's the good news.Overall year on year:
Files added +26%
And The Bad: Dec 2012 v Dec 20111
Dollars -15% (not incl. GI Sales)
The trend is very worrying.
Great year up to end of August.
Just hoping that the return of zoom and LB functionality and some promising words from HQ will reverse this trend. Time for action HQ
