PHOTO: Wall street. Copyright Rejection?

Hello,


I just had the following file rejected for copyright.  My question is, are the words "Stock Exchange" or "Wall Street" a copyright or is this due to the builiding?  This building is not the actual stock exchange and it is a fairly tight architectual shot that has been modified. The words were just added in photoshop so they can be easily removed but I did not believe they would be a problem nor did I believe the building shot this tight and modified would be a issue, thanks.

It is Stock Exchange

The reason for the rejection or the wording "Stock Exchange"?  If you are referencing the rejection, Im not sure.

Thanks, but again this is not the actual New York Stock Exchange, it is not even shot in New York.  I shot a local builidng and made exterior changes to the image and added the text in Photoshop and had a souviner wall street sign that I re-composited into the image, Is this information that I should have included when I submitted to inspection and should I re-submit to scout?

even worse. Delete word Stock Exchange because Wall Str. makes direct association. Street names are generally accepted.


What's a point in faking Wall St. sign when it is not even in New York?


 

The implication that it is, is enough. We also cannot accept faked up iPhones, or a 3D-rendered McDonald's, or a fictitious Olympic flag, for example. It's the "brand" that's protected.
