Hello,
May I have your crtiques and opinions on this image please.
Thanks in advance.

Posted Mon Jan 7 7:45PM | Concept doesn't seem to be very strong. It's an awkward, unnatural pose, in a setting of mixed, distracting elements (fence, some kind of artwork or grafitti behind fence? tree sinking into shadow, bright green traffic light)...none of it seeming to be related in any way.
White balance is too cool.
Focus is slightly missed - appears to be at some point further back in her hair rather than on her eyes. This might not be bad enough to warrant a focus rejection if the rest of the image were conceptually strong & better lit, but all combined, this is likely on its way to a rejection - sorry.
I'd highly recommend striving for some kind of activity or concept when shooting models (for iStock). Fashion shots are of very little use to anyone except whoever is selling the fashion item being modeled. There is a limitless supply of made-up & dressed up female models posing for the camera here - it's virtually impossible to compete in this area that has limited demand in the first place. Models that look like regular people doing regular things are going to not only increase your chances of selling them - you'll also improve your chances with the Inspector. |
