Posted Mon Jan 21 8:33AM | I emailed Jim last week and he said that they are going to look it up.
Still nothing |

This is because we have decided not to transfer any files encoded with HDV, or any SD files through the new connector, even though some of those files do appear there now from the earlier transfers.
Jim,
Will videos that I've provided HD, NTSC, and PAL versions under one file number, at inspection, possibly be skipped over because of this? Or will the Connector just take the HD version only?
Here is one of mine as an example:
http://www.istockphoto.com/stock-video-15351194-middle-class-american-subdivision-snow-day.php
I was wondering about this too. I haven't had any of my newer videos transferred to Getty and I'm not sure why. I'd really like to get them on there as well. If there are SD versions as well as HD versions of the same file, are they overlooked for this process? Thanks |

For those who's video's have vanished I'm guessing we were all in the same upload batch?
email: jim . goertz at istockphoto . com
he was really helpful and was able to retrieve most of my video's back again!
I just want my newer files (some over a year old) to be uploaded now! Such a long agonising wait!

Posted Thu Jan 24 7:42AM | Still nothing...
Jim, are you there? |
Posted Thu Jan 24 8:10AM | Ho are you guys checking to see if your videos are on Getty? UI am searching, but mine aren't showing...is there a better way? |

A quick update: The problem is still being worked on, and we are compiling a list of those affected. By emailing me you are put on that list, which we are working on getting re-activated. Heavypred, you are on that list.
The problem is that RF video files that have been active on GI have been disappearing. If you know approximately how many files you had on GI, vs how many you have now, I can pass that info on to have them re-activated.
This should not be confused with the seperate issue of requesting more files to be sent over. That is not a bug, we are working to get more files pushed over and it is just a matter of time.

Posted Thu Jan 24 9:44AM | My content is listed under GI Sales, but not visible when I search for it on Getty...does this mean they were there and dissappeared? |

VCR, thanks for responding so fast, really appreciate that.
I've had exactly 123 files on Getty.
And the ones (10 of them) that are there now were not among them at all.
Hope it helps...

You only have 11 files here at iStock. I suspect we have not yet sent any of your files over as of yet. |

Noted, thanks. |
Posted Sun Jan 27 2:46PM | Mine dissapeared in the last 3 days... Got over 1800 and now there are 1305. So over 500 missing |
     Posted Sun Jan 27 2:51PM | /
/Also, the tab on the left shows
Standard definition (1,305) (got about 10 SD videos)
High-definition (1,198) (over 1800 are HD)
Numbers have gone balistic!
Also, when you go and start adding up with calc the numbers you get some odd things. Nothing match.
Just noticed that

Just refreshed the page and the number went to 1,291 results... even lower.
I broke up exclusivity and as far as I know, the last time talking about Getty and excl, the non-exclusives are there, at Getty, right? No?

Back to 1305 again
|
Posted Sun Jan 27 6:22PM | I don't have any videos on Getty. Excuse my ignorance, but how do I get my video / image files into the Getty collection? I am an exclusive contributor to both...... |
Posted Tue Jan 29 12:28PM | yes HD and SD are mixed up. all of my files are HD but some of them are listed as only SD.
I think the source for this error is that the aspect ratio under the file info is lister as 4:3 usually its 16:9 and 4:3
example for a wrong file: only 4:3
http://www.gettyimages.com/detail/video/golden-gate-bridge-stock-footage/156477083
example for a correct file: which contains both 16:9 and 4:3

Posted Wed Jan 30 12:09PM | Hi. VCR, did you get my site mail? About 1000 missing. Also emailed Jim weeks ago. Still no change. Thanks. |
Posted Wed Jan 30 1:46PM | How are we to know if we have missing videos? I rarely check my Getty portfolio, so I'm not sure how many videos I should have, but my Getty portfolio is about half the size of my iStock portfolio. |
