Many of us have large Friends network. Many of them may not read the Forums.  Perhaps we should all notify them.  It would mean getting multiple duplicates, but that would be all right with me if I hadn't known about it.

All my sales to Google drive on my Getty November statement were between $6 and $12 premium access time limited.

This is going to be the killer fact, I betchya.

Maybe, but as I said, the only Drive sale I could find was an image which isn't a part of this.

I am following the discussion here. I couldn't find an image of mine in the Google Drive but this doesn't make me feel comfortable since I don't have any assurance whether my images were not given away through GI. I demand some reasonable information regarding

- Which images are we talking about here? Can you establish a lightbox?
- What deals are closed with corporations, similar to MS and Google? What are conditions? Can we opt out?
- Are you considering a compensation for people whose files are on Google Drive?

Please inform us.

/i think that the time limit does not mater anymore, the internet now has your images ...

Though i think they are pretty useless for comercial use when downloaded from google, no licence and no legal guaranties what so ever. Googledrive TOS basicaly states that they are not responsible for anything and users are responsible for everything.

Still the damage has been done and everyone should get a fair compensation, but more importanly we would need guaranties that this kind of crap does not happen in the future.

Just found out that my ONLY Agency file is available for free on Google... No wonder I wasn't selling it. I think i'm going to cry.

Why don't they give away files that we did nominate for free file of the month? And why are all the metadata erase? OMG... This is so very upsetting.

I do not think, any "Premium licence" allows to give away our images without any licence or copyright shows on the image. Now theese photos belongs to noone, there is no EXIF datas, no copirights owners mentioned.

I repeat: i am SURE there is no licence what allows such a scam!!!

Yeah right. Happy new year to the management that signed the deal. Enjoy the short term money. Wise move, congrats.

It dosen't matter if you have images in this deal or not! This business practice needs to stop because it may not be your images today but the next time it will be. I work hard and have a lot of exclusive medical content with more in the pipes. If they can do this with images they will do it with all forms of media they sell.

We will come back on this tomorrow. Clearly there are a lot of questions that need answering and a lot to explore here. I just wanted to let you know that we will need at least several more hours to give you the clear picture and information, solutions etc. We know you are waiting so no more reminders are needed about the fact that you are waiting.

I honestly understand why we see so many of those reminders in this string, I am aware that you have been patient about a good number of things for quite some time. For that I am sorry.  We are working on this--see you tomorrow.

Yep. $12.
Still, better than the Microsoft deal that I knew nothing about until now. My images are all over that too and I'm apoplectic.

Getty have lost it. Giving images away for free is utter madness - only this week one of my design business clients told me they are no longer buying images because they said they can get them free. I actually warned them about the risk of using images without a licence!! Now I find I've been mugged by my own agent! You couldn't make this up.

I had to stay late at work yesterday to help 5 customers deal with a total of about $100 worth of transactions. Sometimes "Business Hours" are about more than the clock.

Well, I'm glad that at least someone is aware. And communicating with the people who provide the stuff that pays your and your colleagues salary (my contribution is minuscule )

Bloody hell, unbelievable, The only reason I am exclusive here is to protect my work. Who is running this place? Is there a grand plan or are they just in incompetent. Sorry to all those folks whose hard work and trust is just being given away. I never thought I would be thankful for the invisibility and contempt that Vector folks are held in here, but gosh I am now, unbelievable.

I'd like to add my disgust to this post. I know a lot has been said, but it needs to know that there is a +1 to all of the above.

How much longer do we have to keep bending over and taking it in the......!!!

I'm seriously considering canceling exclusivity. i can't imagine anything you are going to say is going to change how concerned I am that istock is engaging in business games that take advantage of contributors. you really better have a good explanation as to how the meta data is removed, why there are no links back to istock, no licenses or why there are commercial use licenses, why there are vetta and RM files there, why some people report you took their best selling files, no evidence of compensation or too little compensation. really, I can't wait to hear you explain how this helps us?
