This may be normal as I haven't uploaded in a few months. I am exclusive and it usually takes a few days, but I have uploaded a few videos earlier this month and they are still pending. Is this normal for exclusive? In the past I only had to wait a few days.

I don't know that the inspection time has even been a few days. Right now it's 2-3 weeks for exclusives.

They claim it to be 3-7 days I think...I haven't submitted in a while...since last March and the wait time didn't seem bad then especially after I became exclusive....seems long now, but I guess if it is 2-3 weeks I am still in that range. I hate to complain, but that seems long. Especially given the amount of time animating and rendering some of us put into making these videos. Oh well.

For non exclusives it is down to two months now. That is just beyond reasonable.

I uploaded 11 videos last week. They were all reviewed and accepted by the other big agency within an hour. And here? Well they will be reviewed around the end of march, maybe beginning of april.

I better start working on those Happy 2014 animations now!

The oldest video in my inanimated reviewing queue is dated 17th of november... I'm not an exclusive contributor but I'm a human being, who's not little!

I think that is a very poor turnaround for exclusive or non. I know we all work hard and put time and effort into these videos. I think it is very bad practice for them to take so long. Doesn't come off very well and has made me consider alternatives. Do they not want new content? It seems that way.

Well after three months of videos sitting and waiting to be reviewed My basket of pending videos were finally reviewed.  All of them failed.  These same videos are on another site and the very hour that they were rejected by istock as unworthy, I received notice tha one of them had sold on another site. Many of the others have sold as welll multiple times. I guess the quality was "Good enough" for someone.  The videos were captured with a Panasonic HPX300, a completely capable camera, in studio, with professional lighting, on a proper set of sticks, and processed in FinalCut Pro properly.  The complaint was basically Focus, on all of them.  They are not out of focus, in the least.  I honestly don't care at this point.  The review time is so long that I just don't care anymore.  I can get content up within days elsewhere, and the pay is better.

I hear you... 3 months is crazy. Mine took two weeks. I still have some pending . It took another few days for them to show up in search. I updated thumbnails recently and a few days later only half of them updated. There seems to be a lot of issues with the stats also...makes it hard to gauge anything especially for someone like md just starting to build up my video stock.

My biggest gripe about the long review time is sometimes the issues are small... And I make the correction and have to wait another two weeks for it to be reviewed. I wish there was a way to expedited the re- review in those cases.

My first 5 vids are still being pending, about 4 weeks. From what I've read above - nothing surprising

My videos are still being pending after uploaded 3 weeks ago, and I am exclusive. So we just need to wait.

I am also waiting for more than 3 weeks now but I see exclusive files uploaded on 2nd of march inspected on the last uploads page. So, maybe there is a problem in the queue.

Yeah video seems to have the longest review times. Photos are a few days and last night my Illustrations were approved within an hour after submitting.

shocked

Haha These north american people use mm-dd instead of dd-mm, not my fault

Well, OK. This makes 4 weeks as inspection time for exclusive files. I'll wait.

7 weeks - 'Exclusive'  Sadly it's really hard to do business with this sort of lag. This must be costing the agency a huge amount of money in that it drives contributors to the competition, not to mention the subsequent massive loss in sales. The strength of the competition compounds. Those of us who are keen to stay exclusive are faced with the reality of whether doing business like this is viable.... We do have costs and dependents.

7 weeks for exclusive means something is wrong. Your files are likely caught up in processing somewhere. Site mail me with file numbers if you have them.
