Creating series and banners...

Something that isn't clear is how I can create a series (or custom collection) of related videos and have banners that link to that series on the file pages. Is this something only available by invite? Or do you need a specific amount of videos approved first? I am an exclusive contributor, but I cannot find anything related to this subject...

Banners are just images they you make and host on your own site.

I understand, but how do you get them to show on the left side under files? And how do you create a series/collection...say I have clips of transportation elements and I want to have a "transportation" collection...

Is it just aded in the subscription and linked to a public lightbox?

0. See my example page here, and proceed as follows : 

1. Create 'lightboxes' of your related videos/images. Jot down the lightbox numbers/IDs.

2. Create your 'primary banner images' and host those at your own web space.

3. Insert the folloing 'links text' in the description field of any image/video. Of course you must use you own server URLs :



Tweak the final appearnce to your liking.

NOTE : Do maintain a backup of your 'banner images' and the 'link-codes' used above, lest you lose your server space somehow, and need to re-host the same on a new server.

It's just a link to a lightbox. By using UBB codes you can embed an jpeg image and create a hyperlink to a lightbox.
