PHOTO: Necropolis. Model release?

I could remove the person, but I feel it add more to the photo by being there.

She could recognize herself, don't you think? 


In my opinion, without the model there would be more solitude in it. It looks like she's just been shopping, while the environment has somehow a feeling of tristesse.

She doesn't form a large part of the image, but the composition leads the eye to her, making her the de facto subject of the photo. As such, I'd say there is a high chance you'd be asked to supply a MR.

Yep, I'll put the official stamp of "Model Release Required" on this.

I thought she brings in a sense of scale to thr picture. Thank you for your time and advice.

Alternatively, you could submit the unedited photo as editorial instead. Obviously that limits your market somewhat but that does give you the option of preserving the original photo as-is if you like it better this way.
