You might get a better answer from the Illustration forum. What programme are you saving from?

"anyone any clue?"
Try uploading with a different browser, it may be browser related.

Yes, that sounds like the dreaded MIME-type error, which usually happens in Firefox (see here for more info). Switching browsers will work, or, you could try contacting Firefox to see if they have a workaround? Good luck!

I have tried safari & firefox. No luck yet! I work in Illustrator so just save it as a 10 version.....

Safari too?! That's rare, I've only ever heard of this issue in Firefox.
If you like, I could take a look and see if there's something wrong with the file? Sitemail me and we can sort out the details.
Sorry you're running into so many problems Hopefully we can get this sorted out soon.

I had some strange results when saving EPS 10 files from CS6. After I got a rejection saying the file was not an Adobe Illustrator 10 compatible EPS file I was able to narrow the problem to my use of a guassian blur. I've gone back to CS5 for my illustrations and haven't had any more issues.

You know, I just had the same problem. They said I had transparencies in my file, but even if I had used transparencies, I thought they were accepted right now. The only thing I used was the brush tool and the pencil tool, and I converted everything to shapes. I DID have a layer with my original sketch on it that I was tracing over that I set to transparent, but I deleted the whole layer. Come to think of it, I tried to submit something as Ai10 a few months ago, and it got a similar rejection. I took the same file, submitted as Ai8, and it went through ok. Would someone be able to tell me what I'm doing wrong? I'll show you the file(s). It happened on two of my submissions.
Edit: Let me clarify.. I didn't get the error during upload. I got a rejection telling me to please include an .eps file, and that ALSO there were transparencies in it. I am confuse.

Kattywampus, you saved your file higher than eps8 but did not include the eps version in the description. Have a look at this thread & it will explain
ETA that it wasn't rejected because it had transparencies, it was only the missing info in the description.

Ohhh, so I literally have to type in the description that it's an ai10 eps, and it's ok?

yep. If you had transparencies or effects, please add that as well. We just want to make sure that buyers know what they are getting
