Keywording help please

Could you help me with the keywording of the activitiy in this image where the girl is "working" on sorghum seeds.


I have tried winnowing and trashing but neither is in the CV. Cleaning might be almost correct, separating in the meanings of CV does not seem right either.

Winnowing is the right word. Perhaps David will add it to the CV for you - but you can use it anyway.

In the meantime, sifting or sieving or sieve should be OK.


ETA ...  and are probably used more often than the correct term...

Kieran, tried sifting but in the CV it is a nonmoveing activity which I can't understand.
