Yes! Definitely.

People usually understand this month as the current month = January. Tomorrow is already February. People might take that literally and assume, that the newsletter will come today. If it is indeed planned for today, then that's fine, otherwise it would probably be better to write sometime in the next week or something similar. Recently nothing was on time and giving the false schedule (even by mistake), could make the athmospere on the forums even worse. Just a suggestion, I don't want things to get even worse.

Good point, I forgot people are still using months. I'm using page numbers to keep track of time.

How about I see about where we can get to that this week. If its next week it will probably have more in it. Anyway I'll check it out.

Quote harder, guys.

So the magic day is here. I'll be the first to say I'm staying, and keeping the crown. I've got my reasons and won't bore you with them.

Best of luck to those who leave or toss in the crown, best of luck to those who stay....

Then I'll be the second! I've done a lot of thinking, sleepless nights etc worrying about it all - but for now I'm staying put.

I've deactivated eight today, just to get my name on any list of unhappy contributors. They're not files that either I or istock will miss.

I am sure Istock is grateful for people editing their own porfolio by removing non sellers. It will only increase the quality of the IS library. I appreciate the gesture, but it will probably have no negative impact.

I deactivated all my images, all 11, after getting accepted here one week before the Google deal hit the forums. My IS endeavours where short but dramatic to say the least.

Deleting your portfolio had no impact, either.

You can delete for a couple of different reasons: to avoid the risk of images getting into Google-drive, in which case you can delete those you are most worried about or delete everything and quit. Or you can delete a few to register the fact that you are not happy. Or you can do nothing, which is likely to be taken as evidence that you are content with the deal.

Once they tally up all the people who have done nothing today, they will probably conclude that the problem has pretty much "gone away" and only a few loudmouths care about it, and they can simply be ignored.

Lobo's already indicated that iStock is watching closely to see how we are reacting to what is happening. I prefer to react, even in a meaningless way, rather than give a silent vote of approval.

They lost a contributor in me. So there is an impact, I already had sales on my 11 images after a few days.

But I guess you are right Paul. Like I said, I appreciate the gesture and I support all of this.

Hi paul! how goes.

I wouldnt say that by doing nothing its a slient approval. I been here since 2005, you since 2004, we are both Diamonds, idependants.

I mean both of us have put in a lot of work over the years and Im still collecting pretty good revenue here. Besides, what can IS do? nothing, its all in the hands of Getty, isnt it. I feel that by barking here, we are barking up the wrong tree.

I be damned if I am going to reduce my port or take risks with my portfolio, only because, as you say a few loudmouths in a forum comes up with the "bright" idea to act in what I consider a pretty naive way out.

Besides Paul. Look at it, 50% of these people screaming havent got anything to lose anyway, they just jump on the bandwagon, trying to enlist people with a lot more clout, etc.

all the best. Chris.
