It's been mentioned before... iStock ads do not seem to be as visible as they once were.   Is this part of 'the problem'?   Is anyone seeing iStock ads?      Can HQ address future plans for advertising.. was budget cut - etc.   Thanks.

I've seen a lot of iStock online advertising in the last few weeks. The design of the ads is different that the ads I was seeing last year.

We will get a discussion going on all that in the future. You all have to know we are currently focused on communicating on other concerns right now. I appreciate everything is related but we're going to stay on task for the next little while. I'll leave this open with the expectation that people wont take it upon themselves to troll this thread.

I must say that I used to love the "designer's dirty little secret" campaign, as did my designer friends. It was so different from other photo agencies and typical of how iStock was then - a bit odd-ball!

I must say video needs to be in HTML5 along with an ipad app where you can save it in a bin for purchase later or right on the ipad. Everything is going mobile and you can even edit movies on the ipad itself. Time to hit that market before everyone else dose!

In addition to GD USA, Istock seems to be in Communication Arts consistently.

I've been noticing their ads on the internet quite a lot lately actually and thought to myself just yesterday that this must be a good sign. Now I read this post and I don't know what to make of it anymore ,-)

I very much like the new slideshow of IS images on NBCNews, There must be some other places, but I haven't seen them. The placement is right where you can see them easily and I like the slideshow approach. I would like to see more images in the slideshow, and I hope it rotates on a regular, relatively short basis. I would say a lot better bang for you buck than giving them away. Great marketing. People always like to see pictures rather than text, IMHO, I tend to gravitate to slideshows on site like NBCNews. Thanks.

DPS regularly In computer arts in the uk which always make me think a bit more positive when I see it.

I'd really like to see IS tap into the creative capabilities here though for some advert concepts. A competition somewhere here to design iS adverts would be a great community bring-back-together-erer. And would be something to make us different from the competition.
