How to send raster illustrations?

I'm doing some watercolors by hand, thinking about scanning and considering uploading in the future. But before anything, I'd like to ask how is the upload process in this case? Is it uploaded as a photo? Are there instructions for this type of artwork that is not computer generated? Thank you guys!

Yes, it is uploaded as a photo. There was an article about raster illustrations a few months ago, maybe it helps.

Hi Moneca, with the way the site's currently set up, raster illustrations will need to be uploaded as an RGB JPEG under the 'Photo' category (see this post) in the Illustration Guide sticky thread). We know it's not ideal but right now it's the only way we have to get this content. If you need any help just post here and we'll see what we can do
