PHOTO: Editorial Use photo - Production Date

I need help in clarifying something.
This is regarding an image (http://www.xerv.x11s.org/Help/Boxing.jpg) rejected because the production date was first given as 27th november 2012. it was resummited and prod. date given as 30 Jan 2013 but rejected again. I dont know what istock want.
The date time on the EXIF file now is 02.02.2013 now because I just added a watermark on it

The image submitted has a production date that conflicts with the file EXIF data. All images must have an accurate production date, country of origin and accurate caption information to be accepted for editorial use.

The EXIF data of the image shows the following
DateTime - 2013:02:02
DateTimeOriginal - 2012:11:27 15:15:17
DateTimeDigitized - 2012:11:27 15:15:17

I though the production is date is when the image was taken. Or does it mean the date the image was edited?

It should be the date when the image was taken.
