So, here you go, and there are many, many more sites like this one that is hosting links to upload/download services from which you can download for free singles, bulks, packs, series etc... of Istockphoto footage/vectors/images... Didn't find any audio files yet

One thing, there are some series that are huge, like 40-200GB! Also, there is 130 pages of footage not just from Istock, but envato, revostock etc... not to mention vectors and photos

don't know if I may copy/paste the link but here you go. And it's on google, don't know why istock/getty police isn't doing something about this? those are old links and old files... Sitting there for a while now.

Maybe our sales went that way sad

Also, I can continue copy/pasting websites offering Istock/others media for free but it's out there in plain sight! Google it out!
Can we have a topic where we can report those websites?

This is... I don't know - reality? There are people that steal and there should be people trying to prevent that. I'm just curious how did those clips ended up there?

Why post links? These people don't need advertising – you're just helping them.

Contact ce (at) istockphoto.com.

That's my point! If anyone can find it on first five google pages what ce (at) istockphoto.com are doing?!?!?

Also, these are footage related. And they are floating out there for ages and nothing is being done!

I'm wondering why nobody brought this up before (for footage, not photos). Also, the same thing is with Istockreseller... it's name is written many many times on forums?!

I removed the links but I don't see why posting those here where people's work is being stolen have to do anything with advertising them?!?!? They are advertised enogh on google!

Here, individuals can take action and ask for removal of files from rapidshare and simillar websites etc...

Moderators, can I post at least names of the websites? Anything?

It's no surprise. This is happening with every medium. Software developers, movies, stock...everything is pirated. The only comfort I have is that most people looking for free stuff aren't the types that would by it otherwise. They know what they are doing is not legal and they know it cannot be used commercially. Those naive enough not to know this stuff is copywritten can't use their ignorance as an excuse when they get caughtt. My only hope is that iStock/Getty takes a strong stand against this and offer a easy way for us to report this stuff...an hopefully they take action

In my opinion, although it is bad for the contributors that are affected, in actual fact only a very tiny number of iStockvideo files are available on these types of sites - the sites seem to have the same footage as each other. They are mostly older files. I think CE has been successful at preventing this from getting worse than it already is.
