It is nestled in a grove of aspen and cottonwood trees along the Grayling Creek.
ACCOMMODATIONS: The Ranch has rustic log cabins with modern beds and baths. Electric
propane-fired heaters, and wood stoves are the source of heat.
RATES: "ALL-INCLUSIVE' rates includes lodging, three meals a day, all activities on
the ranch, including unlimited horseback riding per schedule, fly fishing, hiking,
biking and western outdoor cookouts.
MEALS: A central dining room serves plenty of home cooked style meals. If you are
going to be away from the Ranch during the day, a box lunch is available to be taken
with you for your day's activities. The Ranch also has a community lodge for social
gatherings. An outdoor hot tub provides and excellent place to soak wear muscles
after a day of outdoor fun.
HORSEBACK RIDING: Wrangler guided horseback rides are available every day except Sunday.
Novices can enjoy leisurely, 1-hour or 2-hour morning, afternoon, and sunset rides while
the more advanced riders can enjoy 4-hour excursions into higher elevations. Children
under 8 years of age will enjoy wrangler-led corral rides in our pasture.
FISHING: Fishing licenses for non-residents are $15.00 for 2 days, $30.00 for four days,
$50.00 for the season in West Yellowstone. Fishing inside of Yellowstone National Park
requires a $10.00 ten day fishing permit and a $20.00 entrance permit available at any
entrance or visitor's center.
WEATHER: Weather in this part of Montana can be unpredictable, so it is best to be
prepared for a variety of conditions. Daytime temperatures can be in the 70's although
they may reach the mid-80's during July and August. Night temperatures are generally
in the 30-40 degree range, and it can rain at any time. Spring and FAll bring pleasant
days with lower daytime temperatures and crisp, cool evenings. Anytime during the
season, the sun at this altitude is intense. It is wise to bring sunscreen and a hat
to provide shade.
CLOTHING: The entire Yellowstone area is very casual. You will want to pack clothes that
are easily layered, remembering jeans will take you anywhere you go. In your packing,
remember to include a warm jacket for the cool mornings and evenings, some type of rain
gear, a swimsuit for the hot tub, and a comfortable pair of walking shoes. Horseback riders
should include: jeans, boots or shoes with heels, gloves, and a lightweight jacket,
sweater, or sweatshirt and a hat with stampeded strap. Fly fishermen need to include:
waders, long underwear for possible cold mornings, rain gear and a lightweight jacket.
Additionally, a vest for early mornings and evenings may be wise.
AIRPORTS & TRANSPORTATION: The Parade Rest Ranch provides complimentary round trip transfers
for our guests from the West Yellowstone airport which is serviced by Sky West/Delta out of
Salt Lake City, UT, starting mid-June through September. Rental cars are also available at
the airport. Bozeman, MT, just 90 miles to the North, is serviced by Northwest, Delta, and
Horizon airlines. Transportation service to West Yellowstone is available from 4X4 Stage at
1-800-517-8243. PRR can provide transportation from the Bozeman airport for an additional fee
of $100.00 round-trip. Idaho Falls, ID, 110 miles to the South is served by Delta and Alaska
airlines. Rental cars are also available at all airports.
NOTE: Send your deposit by March 1st, and your balance by April 1st to secure your slot. I will be using
Paypal only. Send to

Rules for Social Tickets
The event organizer, Christopher Balmer, has a 2 year contract with PRR which gives him Exclusive Rights to all photography, commercial or not, on the property. This brings up some interesting questions as to what can be shot by a Social Ticket Attendee. I hope to answer these questions here, at the beginning of the forum to clear up any questions people may have before hand. Those individuals that have purchased a Full Ticket are under no phtography restrictions as far as the event is concerned whether it is commercial or private. You just need to make sure you have releases for everything and everybody you will be shooting. Diane555 will be spearheading MR and PR releases for everyone.
Social Ticket Attendees are not allowed to bring in models and set up any other shoots during the event on this property. But, you may get models and set up shoots
off site any time during your stay with Parade Rest Ranch. There is plenty of pretty scenery around to work with along with area locals that might mug for you.
Nor, can Social Ticket Attendees, take any pictures with any of the models during the event, unless you are taking behind the scene shots specifically for the event organizers. This will have to be cleared through the organizers if you wish to do this. All ranch hands are considered models and eligible to be pulled at any moment for a shoot. So they are off limits as well. The only way around this is if your family is using the facilities (horses, bikes, rods and reels) and you take pictures of them. Then it will be allowed. Family horseback or bike riding etc. Any family picture taking is allowed.
I am double checking to make sure this is correct and if there is anything else I need to add. I know we placed the cost of this event low to give everyone a chance to come that wanted to. So I hope everyone feels positive about these restrictions and the cost. I am required to work within the parameters that Chris Balmer, has given me to work with according to the contract he has in place with Parade Rest Ranch. I hope this clears up questions concerning ST shooting.
