RE: Bear Spray. It is different! Make lots of noise when you are out and about. Attach bells to you pack etc. Any Sporting Goods store will have bears spray.
RE: Rental Cars. I don't know how your are going to get from the airports to the Lodge, but, if you can find a way other than a car, let me know. Maybe you can find someone that is already renting and share the cost and the driving time.

There are a couple taxi services that I'll look into. I'm planning on getting a car after the meetup, still trying to decide if I need one the whole time. The campground I'm staying at recommended The Yellowstone taxi #406-646-1118

Kriss do you know yet what the schedule will be?? Do you think we will have some time during this meetup to explore??
I rented a car for the whole time, but I will only be there for the weekend Wed-Sun

I'm arriving to Bozeman around 1PM Wednesday and depart Monday Afternoon. Haven't made arrangements yet for transportation from the airport, but unless I can share a ride with someone, I'll just pay the 50$ to get a ride from the hotel.

In the afternoons from about 1:00-5:30 pm you will have exploring/free time, unless you want to watch Rayce "Create" or maybe take a short lighting class that we are trying to schedule. It will be totally up to you! Lots to do for sure!
I wish I had an easy answer for the car rental thing. hmmmmmm.

I'm bringing sunscreen for bare spray. But I sense I might be missing something in this discussion...

Ted, get the stuff with Honey in it. I hear it is the best. Then all I have to do is be able to out run you! I like it when a plan comes together!

Ah, but Steve - never assume an old man can't run like an eighteen year old track star when properly motivated.

Hi Evelyn. Incredibly, iStock's legal team have created a special group release for events like this. It was super generous of them to help out this way and it saves everyone a lot of paperwork
Bethany and I will be looking after the releases and we will make sure that all participants get releases for each model. I think we may have enlisted Dawn (pink_cotton_candy) as well. lol
You will need your own releases if you plan to do any side shoots that aren't part of this event. I have digital release software on my phone in case I really need something extra but it never hurts to keep a few blank copies in your bag.
It might be a good time to mention that like most events, we will be asking for a few shots of each model you work with for their portfolios. I always do that regardless, because people usually model for very little compensation. I'll be looking after those as well and will send you all directions once the event is over.

Many thanks to Diane and the Istock Team for spearheading a difficult task in creating and implementing a new Model Releases for our shoots. Bethany and Pink Cotton Candy/ Dawn for their many efforts in making this a shoot to remember.

I have been out of town and came a little late to this recent party. I just wanted to add my thanks to Ted for "encouraging" a large group of eager photographers to shoot a man in his "bare" spray. You know that's what is going to happen Ted. You will never get out of this one. haha

I wanted to mention that I am planning to bring a couple of decks of cards that I designed myself & had manufactured in case anyone would like to use them as props. Not sure if they will fit into any of the shoots but you never know. I'll property release them.

Me! Me! I want to use them! Do we have a sampling? Pretty Please? And we will need a property release for that won't we Diane?
Posted Wed Apr 10, 2013 12:50PM
I will be sure to make out a property release for both sets, although only want to use the generic set. I may even get a newer more generic looking set done
Here's a few of them

Is there a difference? I don't play. I just meant that I want to make a set that has simpler artwork (aka boring - lol).
