I'm baffled that the video previews are blank for mobile devices. If you can't get it to fallback to HTML5 video, at least show the preview thumbnails as a fall back for mobile devices. Just because folks aren't as likely to purchase on mobile devices doesn't mean they don't use them for looking up possible videos to purchase.
sorry if this is the wrong place to post this.

Posted Mon Feb 11 6:12AM | You probably can tell now that istock is a very outdated system, when you search certain footage on google, 9 out of 10 you won't see istock. We live in our own small world, we are (were?) the champion, we don't care about others, anything. Period. |

Outdated system or not, it should not be that tough a fix as far as showing a preview image at the least. Converting videos to a usable HTML5 format is probably a bit of a nightmare, however, other sites have done it so we know it can be done. I am a multimedia developer in my day job, and making things functional on mobile was a top priority as of a few years ago. At this point in time I find there is little excuse. So much of their system just seems to be not working...I have to dive deep into the forums to even know what is and isn't working...and that is if I can decipher the diplomatic answers the mods tend to provide. None the less, back on topic...
Videos showing up blank on mobile devices does not speak well to a potential buyer.
