OK I read the Getty Forum on this and see photographers upset at the 0.02 payment. I am fine with Getty doing this but it is not a viable income stream for any one photographer! I would bet anyone at Getty that you will die before you reach $100.00 and if somone dose prove it to me and I will send you the money! This is a decent advertising idea for our work but not for income. Now this is crazy but I would love to see an option to donate Connect income to charity because it might help someone in a poor country! A former contrib. posted his earnings from this and it was 0.04. Again I am fine with it as it because it is a great way to monotize for Getty and Advertise but don't look for any income from this people!

I had two connect payments last month... one for 2 cents and one for three. Maybe since we eliminated the penny in Canada that will round-off to five.

Why are you fine with advertising for Getty and receiving no income?
Can we opt out?
Can non-exclusives opt out?

It's new, it's about volume, it's apart of being involved with the largest image provider on the planet. There is no opt-out from what I can see. Nons, exclusives everyone is involved. The only people who will not be apart of the Connect API are non members.

Simply because I sell my video at Getty I want as many people as possible to use Getty/iStock. Seeing I am exclusive it only makes sense to drive traffic to my content
