I just recieved an incredible email telling me that one of my photos (Wasp) was selected as a top ten finalist in the 2013 Sony World Photography Organisation wildlife photo competiton. Out of 54,851 images entered from 170 countries I am in the top ten! Holy smokes! My photo will be displayed in the 2013 Sony World Photography Awards Exhibition in London. I am so happy about this achievement.

A video of last years award ceremony. As a top ten finalist my photo will be displayed in the gallery shown at the beginning of the video. If I am lucky enough to win, I will go to the awards ceremony

That is a stunning shot. Pin sharp and with brilliant colours it deserves to be there.  Mind you the opposition is pretty strong!
