Manila - Compact camera for stockphotos

Going to Manila in a couple of weeks and don´t want to bring my DLSR, please don´t ask why. In this thread my question is:


Is there any small compact digital camera that can shoot images with enough quality to upload here at iStockphoto?


Downsize RX100 photos is one idea but are there any other better solution?

Fuji X100 perhaps. I took one to Australia a couple of years back, good enough I reckon...


 


Got some very nice results. There's a newer version out (X100S) so you might get a good deal on the original. Alternatively you could try the bigger X Pro 1, which came on a trip to New Zealand a few months back. Left the Canon 5DII at home, have no regrets.

Manila - been there. A black Fuji X100(S) is a good choice, no need to ask why.

Olympus OM-D, hearing nothing but great things about this camera from some very good photographers.

Another great camera! However it has to be in the size of a pocket camera. So far seems like the RX100 is the one to go with.

No problem, you just said you wanted a compact camera, not a pocket one.  This is pretty small compared to a normal DSLR and I know travel photographers use them.

I love my Fuji X100 and it takes great photos. It's small too
