![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Posted Mon Feb 18 8:51AM | Is there a way of creating a link (URL) to keyword search results in someones portfolio? for example a link to all images with keyword "animal" in my portfolio only. Thanks |
![]() ![]() Posted Mon Feb 18 9:01AM | Could put all with keyword animal in a lightbox and use that url link. |
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Posted Mon Feb 18 9:12AM | Thanks but I want to do it for about 100 different keywords... it would be a nightmare |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Posted Mon Feb 18 9:43AM | Yes like theasis said and then maybe to have a pretty URL you can use some services to shorten URLs. |

Thanks I like days when I can play the hero (but I'm baffled I actually know something Martin doesn't know!). Here is the search string for you: http://www.istockphoto.com/search/portfolio/1016451/text/animal |

![]() ![]() ![]() Posted Mon Feb 18 1:02PM | Posted By craftvision: thank you.. much appreciated No problem! And if you ever want to go more specific and use two keywords (say pictures of animals AND people), you can use this: http://www.istockphoto.com/search/portfolio/1016451/text/animal+people/ If you want three or four (or more) keywords, just add them into the "animal+people" part of the URL by adding +keyword. Enjoy your linking! |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Posted Tue Apr 2 1:10AM | I tried "AND OR" phrases and it worked.. For example: http://www.istockphoto.com/search/portfolio/1016451/text/animal and (people or outdoor) I wonder how other parameters work. Can we filter only the XXXL images? |

You can certainly do it the ugly way: http://www.istockphoto.com/search/portfolio/1016451?facets={"35":"animal and (people or outdoor)","41":[85]} I'm hoping Rob has another nice clean answer (Edited on 2013-04-02 02:55:49 by theasis) |
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Posted Tue Apr 2 2:59AM | To expand that a little... ..."41":[1] is XL ..."41":[10] is XXL ..."41":[85] is XXXL |
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Posted Tue Apr 2 1:03PM | Thank you Martin. It will be useful for banner links. In fact, there are so many search parameters, so I know who to ask |
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Posted Tue Apr 2 1:34PM | Someday I should put together a faceted-search URL builder script. Someday when I have more enthusiasm |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Posted Thu Apr 4 5:08PM | you know the way you can see how many clicks/hits/visits a lightbox gets. Is there a way of doing this in ubb? What I mean is I put an image and the code in UBB, so if anyone clicks the image they go to the search results as in the UBB code. Is there anyway of knowing how many clicks the button get? |
