![]() ![]() ![]() Posted Thu Feb 21 6:54PM | The iStock and Getty Images teams are very happy to announce the relaunch of a new and improved IP Wiki. This is a guide for contributors (and customers as well!) to some of the legal issues that can affect what you shoot and what we can accept at each site. High Fives to evilclown (Shaun Lombard), Benoitb (Benoit Beauregard and Jeffyd (Jeff Feltmate) for all your hard work! We will update this regularly so bookmark it and visit often! Here it is again: IP Wiki (Edited on 2013-02-21 20:55:58 by Lobo) |

![]() ![]() Posted Thu Feb 21 10:15PM | Well done. It's so much clearer than the old Wiki. |
![]() ![]() Posted Thu Feb 21 11:03PM | A question - can we still make additions to it or do we need to contact someone at iStock to do it for us? |

![]() ![]() ![]() Posted Fri Feb 22 12:40AM | Posted By whitemay: A question - can we still make additions to it or do we need to contact someone at iStock to do it for us? We will be adding the entries. Part of the problem with the previous 'wiki' was that there were a number of duplicate entries happening at any one time. Very few people made entries outside of the Admins who were responsible for approving/adding/editing the entries. Also, there is always a considerable amount of assumption based on what is and isn't a valid entry. SO, from what I can tell the team who is responsible for this feature will also continue to add to it. We don't have a formal way for Contributors to contact this team at this time. So I'm going to suggest people who are actively researching IP(As noted above, it wasn't a very large pool of people to begin with) can open a support ticket. The tickets will be assigned to the appropriate people so that in the event there are submissions missing(please note the IP wiki is still being populated with entries at this time) we will make sure they are properly researched and added if required. |
