I need advice on a nice trip to Brazil

Hi everyone! Im looking for a nice destination for a nice two week romantic holiday. One destination is Brazil and I'd love to hear your experiences travelling around Brazil. What nice places do you recommend? What don't you recommend? How about security? We could move around within Brazil during that time, so feel free to share any tips you like.

Hi Alvarez. I´m from Rio de Janeiro and just got back from Ilha Grande (uploading some images right now). It´s an island at Angra dos Reis, a city in Rio de Janeiro state. It was my second time there, and the island is huge. You could do a trip around it in two weeks easily, visiting lots of beautiful beaches. They have taxi boats, so it´s easy to move around if you have the $$. It´s very secure. There are lots of tourists and the people who lives there are very nice.


Of course there are lots of great places in Brazil like Bahia, Santa Catarina, Amazonas, etc.
